This is my main competitor, his name is Tim Andrews. We literally go into battle for business against each other every day and we go at it hard to secure the business over the other one. Sometimes I win, sometimes he wins. We have done this for almost 20 years and it’s exciting and tiring at the same time because he is good and keeps me on my game. I actually worked for Tim when I started and he taught me a lot. All that said when either of us lose to the other one we usually ring each other and congratulate them and when we see each other in the street we hug each other to say hello and take the time to connect and chat. It's nearly swimming season, school holidays and warmer weather. I did NOT spend $1000 in pool fencing to then teach my children to open the gate, however I asked them to repeat the strategy they brainstormed in order to show others how easy it can be for kids to access a pool area.
Children are clever, they will scale fences from a young age, work together as a team (as seen here) or pull over climbable objects to assist them. A pool fence DOES NOT replace adult supervision. Please remember that pool safety is your responsibility. No home owner OR tenant can erect a pool without proper safety fencing in place, no matter how temporary the pool might be. Six Spring Cleaning Tips for your Home
1. Lovely Living Spaces - Clean the dust behind the cabinet & electrical gear. Rotate your cushions & give all surfaces soft & hard, a wipe over.
2. Sparkling Sofas - Our skin, body oils & hair is all absorbed into our sofas...investing in an annual dry clean or hot water extraction is totally worthwhile.
3. Glistening Bathrooms - Ventilate well year round. Your bathroom should be on a normal cleaning rotation so focus on the places with tougher soap scum build up such as, tap ware & glass screens.
4. Kitchen Blitz - Start with a thorough clean of all the appliances, clean behind the fridge & get rid of the grease on the range hood. Move to the pantry, wipe over & check use by dates, try to plan meals ahead to prevent wastage.
5. Blissful Bedroom - Open the windows & let in plenty of sunshine. Flip & rotate your mattress & vacuum both sides. Pull out the bed to clean underneath & behind the wall.
6. Don't forget the linen - Wipe over shelves with an essential oil such as lavender, cedar or rosehip. Linen needs air to breath as mould will grow if it it is too over packed.
